Pi-hole

Networking

Network-wide ad and tracker blocking via DNS.

Pi-hole is a network-wide DNS sinkhole that blocks ads and trackers for every device on your network — phones, smart TVs and apps included — with no client-side software to install. Its web dashboard gives real-time query statistics, per-client insights and easy allow/deny list management, and it can double as your network's DHCP server.

Resource footprint
512 MB RAM · 1 CPU
Extremely lightweight — the classic 'runs on a Raspberry Pi' network-wide ad blocker. Footprint mainly scales with total DNS query volume across your network and how large your blocklists are, not with the number of client devices.
