CasaOS
Container ManagementOpen-source personal cloud OS on top of Docker.
CasaOS is an open-source personal cloud operating system that sits on top of Docker, giving homelab users a clean web dashboard for system monitoring, file management and one-click app installs from its built-in App Store. It targets the same "friendly NAS OS" niche as Synology DSM or Unraid but stays fully open source and lightweight enough for a spare mini PC or Raspberry Pi. It is a host-level installer rather than a single container, so it needs a bare-metal host, a VM, or a privileged LXC container — unprivileged LXC setups are not supported.

Deployment
# CasaOS is a host-level personal cloud OS, not a single docker-compose service.
# Official install (bare metal, VM, or privileged LXC — NOT unprivileged LXC):
# curl -fsSL https://get.casaos.io | sudo bash
#
# This installs CasaOS's own system containers (gateway, app management,
# local storage, message bus) on top of Docker and exposes the dashboard
# on port 80 by default. Apps are then installed through the built-in
# App Store, which generates its own docker-compose.yml per app.
